Mongu Live in Monchengladbach

Simply the best Chinese restaurant, buffet 10/10, sushi 10/10, service 10/10, making reservations is always easy. It is the first Chinese restaurant from which I did not get diarrhea. The cat is also very fresh and deliciously prepared here

The food was good so far, but unfortunately it was so full that the food from the Mongolians took over 1 hour fresh and the filling of the buffet could have been done faster, because there was such a business!

The selection is great, something for everyone, the food is great, there was nothing to complain about. The ambience is very pleasant. You can also make reservations for larger groups. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy good Mongolian Chinese food

The food is very good and the service very friendly. The hygiene regulations are observed by the operator of the location. Although some of the guests do not think the distance rules are necessary.

10/10/2020 All seats full. Staff tried to keep up with clearing the tables. But the kitchen seems understaffed. At the buffet there were more empty containers than full ones. Ratio 4: 1. Raw meat swims in its own gelatinous juice. Mushy salads are marinated in sour yogurt dressing. The price is in no relation to the food. 25 euros per person with drinks.

We had booked 14 days in advance, nobody knew that there was a booking. The lunch buffet is pretty much German oriented, cauliflower broccoli, potato gratin. Eat there once a month. Unfortunately for me it is no longer, in terms of taste, that what it used to be.

Really a shame. Been here again after 2 years. It used to be a really good Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, today I had to find out that there wasn't much left of the good cuisine. Sushi, no matter what kind, is completely tasteless. The Peking soup was unfortunately more of a tomato soup. Most of the food in the warming containers is cool. Everything tastes the same or is so dry that it could not be eaten. Dishes partly dirty and broken. The dessert buffet is varied and good. This is the only reason why there is still the 1 star.

We had lunch there. Completely okay for the price. Restaurant is clean and well maintained. Staff nice and friendly. In terms of taste completely okay.

After our main Chinese disappointed the last time, we tried the Mongu Live on Saturday. A very large selection of meat and fish awaited us. There is also a separate room for the live grill ingredients. Plus a separate dessert trolley. Only the caramelized meat wasn't the big hit, the rest was fresh and tasty. There are enough parking spaces in front of the house, as well as on the street. The Mongu Live did not see us for the last time today ... Update 06/20 After a long break we could enjoy the Mongu live again. Unfortunately, many flies deprived the buffet of the perfect experience. Deduction ...

Excellent ambience and great variety of food. Good thing is they have a separate room for family with kids which has a play area. Also this room gets filled up easily. Sometimes the waitress seems to be little rude otherwise good place to eat out.

So bad the food very bad cooked and the flies on the food and the worker there making you nervese not smile waiting to go out ...dont come and spend time here

Restaurant is big. Atmosphere and and food were good, but customer service was bad. Rice which is an important part for most Chinese meals was finished from the buffet. I had to wait for more than 15 mins until they had new rice added to the buffet.
